Let’s try this again!… The original date of this event (April 22nd) was rained out, resulting in cancellation… It has now been rescheduled!

GrooveSpan Trio is delighted to return for this wonderful Town of Leonardtown PleinAir Painting event. Enjoy gentle live jazz as you immortalize the sunset waterfront landscape upon your canvas!

Join us for an exciting evening of creativity at the Leonardtown Wharf. You can bring your own supplies and paint along with other art enthusiasts, or sign up for a FREE class with Carrie Patterson, professional artist, Professor of Art at St. Mary's College, and owner of Yellow Line Studio in Leonardtown, at: https://www.theyellowline.co/our-schedule. Carrie will provide the supplies and teach you the process of outdoor landscape painting. Walk-ups are welcome while supplies last, but it's best to register to guarantee a spot. When you register, you'll be entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win great prizes during the evening (the first 5 people to sign up will also receive a reserved parking spot at the Wharf for the event). Those who plan to bring their own supplies can register for the prize drawing by emailing brandy.blackstone@leonardtownmd.gov (the first 5 people to register will also receive a reserved parking spot at the Wharf for the event).

Come capture the stunning beauty of Breton Bay while enjoying live music from the GrooveSpan Trio (Sponsored by Jimmy Hayden of RE-MAX 100 and Homes for Heroes), wine by the glass from Port of Leonardtown Winery, tasty, organic food from Real Food Studio and sweet treats from the Frog Town Ice Cream Shop.

This event is FREE and open to the public, and all skill levels and ages are welcome (food and drink are available for purchase with the noted participating businesses).
