Jennifer Cooper displays the many colors of her vocal kaleidoscope as guest soloist with The Clazzical Project, a unique trio specializing in jazz interpretations of iconic classical music. The trio features Don Stapleson (flute), Peter Fields (guitar), and Fred Lieder (cello). Jennifer will perform “Bacchanalis Peteraras” (based on the famous Bacchanalis by Villa Lobos), “Samba-time” (a unique rendition of Gershwin’s Summertime), and one of Bizet’s most popular operatic arias. Other featured performers include pianist Brian Ganz, performing his sublime interpretation of Chopin’s Concerto in F-minor, and pianist Eliza Garth, performing George Crumb’s “Eine Kleine Mitternachtmusik” (based on Thelonious Monk’s Around Midnight).
