GrooveSpan (full band) provides live music with a mix of jazz, blues, classic rock, motown and more (4:00 – 6:00) at the U.S. Oyster Festival at St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown, MD. The Rotary Club of Lexington Park (Maryland) invites you to celebrate the opening of oyster season on the Chesapeake Bay. The U.S. Oyster Festival enjoys a reputation for great food and good fun in a relaxed atmosphere, and is known around the country as a wonderful family event. Features U.S. National Oyster Shucking Contest, Oyster Cook-Off, and other activities.
