Join us for a Super Summer Showcase!

It's time to enjoy live music again and celebrate life and the performing arts! After fifteen months of silence, the Cooper Voice Studio and GrooveSpan will combine forces to share a performance with friends and fans!

Open to the public! Free admission! Fully outdoors!

2:00pm -- Cooper Voice Studio vocalists, pianists, and other collaborative artists perform solos and duets spanning musical theatre, pop, etc. 3:15pm -- GrooveSpan (full band) performs a set of their favorite repertoire, showcasing a mix of jazz, blues, classic rock, Motown, and more!

The venue is the beautiful, spacious new Margaret Brent Pavilion located right next to the Old State House of Maryland, all nestled on grounds hosted and protected by the Historic Society of Maryland. Please bring a new-floor-friendly portable chair.

St. Mary's College of Maryland is represented by all five GrooveSpan musicians, comprised of music faculty (Jennifer Cooper, Bill Hones, Rick Humphreys) and alumni (Carl Reichelt, Paul Christian), as well as music staff pianist Robert Hayes.

Special thanks to Maryland State Arts Council for assistance with payment to participating professional musicians via a portion of an Individual Artist Grant.

Additional thanks to producing entity, Go-DIVA! Productions, Inc. and all of the volunteers making this logistical feat possible.
